Dogecoin Strikes Another Deal Under Their Belt

Newegg, the leading tech-focused e-retailer in North America revealed that they will be now accepting Dogecoin as a payment method. In honor of #DogeDay

“The excitement and momentum around cryptocurrency are undeniable, and the recent surge in Dogecoin value underscores the need to make it easier for customers to make purchases with this popular cryptocurrency,” Andrew Choi, Sr. Brand Manager of Newegg said

In 2014, the company began to accept Bitcoin for purchases and has become a crypto-friendly since then. Due to the announcement the company’s Twitter handle has released a teaser on the platform

“We’re committed to making it easy for our customers to shop however works best for them, and that means letting them complete transactions with the payment method that suits them best. To that end, we’re happy to give Dogecoin fans an easy way to shop online for tech.”

Another announcement, Dallas Mavericks’ Mark Cuban had announced that they will now allow costumers to pay with Dogecoin (DOGE) to buy NBA tickets, merch through BitPay.
